Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Fundraising Activities

Ingenia Lifestyle raised close to $6,000 for cancer research, prevention and support services from four Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea events held throughout April, May and June at our communities located throughout Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

Bethania and Chambers Pines, South East Qld:
The ladies from the talented Bethania Craft Group held their sixth consecutive Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea and raised an incredible $2,695 for the Cancer Council Qld through raffles, auctions and prizes. The successful event was attended by 80 guests including residents, their families and friends and local businesses who all helped produce another amazing fundraiser.

Stoney Creek in Marsden Park, Western Sydney:
Residents and guests were entertained by a local singing duo while enjoying a delicious morning tea with raffles and prizes assisting the community to raise $1,795 for the Cancer Council NSW.

Albury, Regional NSW:
A morning tea with the Mayor of Albury City Council saw residents, friends, family and locals fundraise a total of $782 for cancer research. Guests enjoyed
a fun-filled day of live music by resident musician Alan Buckley and guests all wore yellow to show their support for their community.

Lara, Victoria:
Our over 45s community got together to raise $656 at their morning tea which was catered by the residents who also arranged a number of activities to assist with their fundraising.

Congratulations to all the residents and staff on their fundraising efforts. There was a fantastic turnout with their friends and family all helping to make a generous contribution in support of a great cause.
