The Grange’s Golf Team is Ready to Tee-Off

“Dad’s Army,” The Grange’s golf team from Morisset on the NSW Central Coast, now look more-the-part thanks to their new-look polo shirts, proudly sponsored by Ingenia Lifestyle.

Dad’s Army was first floated in 1988 and now boasts 33 members ranging in age from 60 to the oldest member who recently turned 90 and play socially or in competitions.

The keen group consists of a number of residents from Ingenia Lifestyle The Grange who play in their own competition every Wednesday morning using a series of relaxed rules – including gimmes on the green and relief from trees.

Team captain of Dad’s Army, Peter Bertreger, said the Ingenia Lifestyle sponsorship means a great deal to the team, as they are a not-for-profit group, they need the help of a sponsor to be able to compete in more tournaments and golf rounds.

“As a bunch of senior citizens, to begin to be able to have brand new matching shirts makes us look like a real team. We are thrilled to wear them and the team absolutely love the new uniforms, we really appreciate that Ingenia Lifestyle has sponsored Dad’s Army,” Peter said.

After they play the team can soon look forward to relaxing in The Grange’s brand new clubhouse with its own sports bar, large dining space for entertaining and an outdoor deck overlooking the swimming pool, arriving in 2017.

Ingenia Lifestyle The Grange’s brand new master plan includes 55 brand new homes coming soon to Morisset.
