Future residents join Lakeside Lara locals at BBQ event

More than 100 residents descended on their popular Clubhouse last week to show a group of potential residents just how fun life at Lakeside Lara is.

With live music and the social committee serving up a mouth-watering BBQ feast, guests were fueled for the night of dancing ahead.

The BBQ event was hosted in the much-loved Lakeside Lara Clubhouse, but with 130 people in attendance, it was bursting at the seams!

Thankfully, Lakeside Lara residents will be able to host bigger and better parties very soon in their brand new Community Hub – an architecturally designed facility that will complement the space and facilities at the Clubhouse.

Due for completion later this year, the Community Hub will feature more event space, a golf simulator, a lap pool, indoor bowls and even an on-site hairdresser; all in addition to the existing Clubhouse’s gathering spaces, cinema, library and indoor pool.

The new space will provide a second home for the industrious social committee, who are supported by the Lakeside Lara team to host arts and crafts, card games, bingo and karaoke, not to mention the monthly community events like the recent BBQ.
