Deborah has officially become the first resident to move into Ingenia Lifestyle Springside, marking an exciting milestone for the brand new community.

Originally from Coburg and most recently living in Wallan, Deborah had been considering a lifestyle-focused move for some time, with community connection being a big driver behind her decision.

“As you get older, you can start to feel a bit more isolated. My daughter moved away from the area and I wanted to be somewhere I’d feel connected and meet new people. I’m at a stage where I’ve got more time to try new things and really enjoy life,” she said.

Currently working as a retail supervisor at Bunnings, Deborah plans to gradually wind back her hours and focus on doing more of what she loves.

“I love to travel. I’ve got a three-week trip to Europe coming up, so being in a secure, gated community gives me peace of mind while I’m away.”

Deborah chose the two-bedroom Gippsland Green home design, attracted to its open-plan layout, generous backyard, modern features and energy-efficient inclusions. Springside’s community amenities will grow as more residents move in, with a pool, gym, clubhouse, gold-class-style cinema and outdoor spaces in the works. “I fully expect I’ll be in that pool every day once it’s finished!” she said.

In the meantime, early gatherings have helped the first residents form connections.

“Those get-togethers really helped us put names to faces,” Deborah said. “For those of us moving in around the same time, it’s a shared experience and a chance to be part of something special from the very beginning.”

For Deborah, the decision to move to Ingenia Lifestyle Springside was made easy for several reasons.
