Sales success recorded at Latitude One lifestyle resort
Downsizers in the Port Stephens region have contributed to the unprecedented sales success that’s currently being recorded at over 55s lifestyle resort, Latitude One.
All homes in the first three stage releases of Latitude One have sold out with the fourth stage release recording high levels of enquiry and sales reservations on the brand new homes.
Latitude One Project Sales Manager, Sheree Richardson, said the response has been amazing with statistics showing 50 percent of purchasers have originated from within 20 kilometres of the community.
“The demand to live within Latitude One saw us achieve sales objectives months ahead of schedule and all stage releases brought forward, some six months in advance.
“The main driver has been the architecturally designed homes with their high end finishes and energy efficiency including Smeg appliances, Caesarstone bench tops, ducted air conditioning, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, living and alfresco areas with beautiful high ceilings and open plan design that maximises the natural light and sense of space.
“All designs have been popular and are dependent on each person’s individual needs and affordability, however my favourite design would be the 104, because of its functionality and spacious entertaining area that opens straight on to a large open plan dining/living area with plenty of storage in the double garage,” Sheree said.
While the community has been busy opening up doors welcoming new residents, the residents have been kept busy with their active social and wellbeing program which is contributing to their new lifestyle.
Nelson Bay locals for 24 years, Gaile and John Butterworth were keen to start a new lifestyle but were seeking the right opportunity to open up for them.
“Latitude One is something we’ve never had in Nelson Bay before and once we had a look, it sort of blew our minds a bit, it was fabulous and it was different.
“Since downsizing we’ve freed up the money to buy a new car and furniture, previously we had been limited with what holidays we could go on, but now we’ve be able to do two overseas trips this year and a European trip planned for next year!
“The timing was perfect, it’s a fantastic way to come into something like this and still have the money left over to live the life you always wanted to live in your retirement. It’s terrific,” Gaile exclaims.
