Resort clubhouse set to open in Woolgoolga
Plantations by Ingenia Lifestyle is well on its way to becoming its own bustling community, with the newly opened multi-million resort clubhouse and facilities which were unveiled to the public at its open day on Saturday 15 February 2020.
The resort clubhouse features a fully-equipped gym designed for over 55s, sports lounge with a pool table, a 31-seat cinema, library, outdoor heated pool, alfresco spaces with BBQ facilities, fire pit, and premium bowling green.
Ingenia Interior Designer Maria Tsavaris said the Coffs Harbour coastal location was the main design inspiration for the space.
“A lot of the inspiration for this project came from the name ‘Plantations’ and the Hamptons-style theme of the homes, but with a little more fun and colour and touches and nods to the coast,” Ms Tsavaris said.
“When you walk through the doors of the Plantations clubhouse you will find a grand space, a high ceiling with panel detailing and plantation fans that carry on the theme through the variety of useful spaces.”
The opening of the new clubhouse facilities has been highly anticipated amongst residents, like Karen McConnell, who recently got a sneak preview of the completed clubhouse.
“I am really looking forward to being able to maintain our active lifestyle with the pool and gym within walking distance of our home – while also providing a communal space for socialising,” Ms McConnell said.
“We have already started making plans to go to Happy Hour every Friday and get together with some of the other residents here – its great!”
Ingenia Project Sales Manager Piere Kelly said Plantations had proven popular with locals and the new community clubhouse was a wonderful asset for the growing over 55s community.
“The growth of our community has been amazing, we recently released stage 6 after strong demand from the local market,” Ms Kelly said.
“It is great to hear how the residents are already referring to the clubhouse as part of their lifestyle here – we have residents already organising exercise plans together in the gym, planning regular catch-ups in the sports bar and looking forward to weekly movie screenings.”
At the clubhouse grand opening, guests were invited to explore the brand-new clubhouse, tour the 6 display homes on offer and see how the new community is taking shape.
Guests also enjoyed live music, activities – including movies in the cinema, express facials and hand massages, lawn bowls and yoga – and complimentary refreshments and lunch from a range of local food trucks.
