Port Stephens sales boom as new homes released

Port Stephens downsizers chasing lifestyle advantages have embraced Ingenia Lifestyle’s Latitude One community, fast-tracking the release of its sixth stage.

Two hours north of Sydney, the coastal town of Port Stephens has pristine beaches, national parks and restaurants, providing Anna Bay locals the perfect location to downsize to and enjoy their golden years. And with 50% of Latitude One purchasers originating from within 20 kilometres of the community, it’s no wonder the demand has originated from within Port Stephens.

To meet the growing demand, Latitude One Project Sales Manager Sheree Richardson brought forward its sixth release, with only a limited number of new homes available for sale.

“We are seeing more and more local downsizers signing up – they love living in the Anna Bay region and are looking for a community to match their lifestyle as they head into retirement,” Sheree said.

Prior to moving into Latitude One residents Darlene Petersen and her husband lived less than an hour away and made the decision to downsize early in a bid to save for their retirement.

“We were living in a house that needed upkeep – most of our weekends were spent doing maintenance.

“Being able to downsize now meant we could still work, have more time with people we love, doing things we like to do – all whilst working towards our retirement.

“The land lease model is fantastic, we would never have been able to afford to live near the water if we had to buy land – it gives us our dream home at a price we could afford and it’s so simple, no 50 page contracts, no exit fees, just very, very easy.”

Homes in the sixth release of Ingenia Lifestyle’s Latitude One community start from $445,000 for a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom home.
