Opening 24th February: State-of-the-art Community Hub

Our $7 million Community Hub precinct is set to open on the 24th of February next year, and as such the construction site is a flurry of activity. The building is at lock-up stage, with internal plastering almost complete, and the architecturally stunning ceiling almost complete.

The interior roof works in the pool area is underway, with pool tiling and floor coverings to be started very soon. The green-spine connection between 40 and 60 Watt Street is also progressing, with the dog park projected to open before the end of the year.

With so much activity on site, it’s understandable that Lakeside Lara residents are getting excited about all the fun they’ll have once it’s open.

“I think it’s going to be great to have a community room where you can go and have a coffee and a chat with people,” says one excited Lakeside Lara resident.

In addition to the existing resort-style facilities available at Lakeside Lara, once complete our new Community Hub precinct will feature a new indoor heated pool, a large function centre, private dining room, theatre, hair studio and bar. Plus, the new facilities will feature a yoga studio and steam room, and an eagerly awaited golf simulator.

“The golf simulator – my husband can’t wait for that to happen,” says another resident.

As well as the Community Hub construction site, there is plenty of other building activity going on at Lakeside Lara to get excited about. With 66 homes now complete, stage three construction is continuing at pace, with 38 more homes under construction and set to be delivered ready for our newest Lakeside Lara residents to move in by the middle of next year.
