Fashion, fascinators and fun at the latest Parkside Lucas event

Ballarat fashionistas united at the recent Parkside Lucas Fashions on the Field event held last week at the Ballarat Golf Club.

The event was a great excuse for attendees to don their finest, including hats and fascinators, with Parkside Lucas resident Wendy being crowned ‘best on ground’ in her spectacular wide-brimmed monochrome hat.

Between sips of sparkling wine and cups of coffee, guests were treated to a runway show and scarf-tying workshop by boutique outfitters Cabella Mia. Guests were then able to try on clothes and shop in style, with a percentage of sales going back to the Resident Social Club to fund more fabulous soirees in future.

“The highlight was everyone making such an effort to get dressed up, and then celebrating that by voting for each other – and I think Wendy was absolutely the right winner,” said Parkside Lucas Sales Manager Karen Eaton.

The Fashions on the Field event is an example of the fun resident and guest occasions run at Parkside Lucas, with this year’s successful Bake-Off event recipes now forming part of a charity cook-book.
