Fun-raising for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea

It takes a special type of person who selflessly donates their time, money and skills for a good cause, but, what happens when a whole community is filled with these special people?

Ingenia Lifestyle Chambers Pines is a community that steps up to help those in need.
From knitting goods for sick children at hospital to raising much needed money to help our farmers through a terrible draught, nothing is too much for our generous residents.

Project Sales Manager, Lynda Ruddell, said there isn’t a charity initiative the residents don’t want to be involved with.

“Since downsizing, many of our residents have more time to be strongly involved with the local community through the charity work they do, it’s lovely to see the friendships they have, some of them created because of their charity work,” Lynda said.

Hosting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen Ingenia Lifestyle’s partnership with Greenbank RSL, taking advantage of their stunning event spaces and delicious morning teas prepared by onsite chefs.

“We had a fantastic turnout, with both residents and the local community getting involved in our fundraiser.

“Guests were treated to live entertainment, a yummy morning tea along with raffle and lucky door prizes up for grabs.

“Collectively, Ingenia Lifestyle Chambers Pines and Greenbank RSL raised $3,000 for Cancer Council with residents and guests walking away feeling proud of their joint efforts,” Lynda said.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea raises much needed funds for the Cancer Council and the vital research, prevention and support services they provide to those battling the disease.
