Fiver for a farmer fundraiser

Since August last year, the team at Ingenia have joined the Fiver for a Farmer movement to raise funds for farming communities suffering through Australia’s worst drought.

We’re proud to announce over $33,000 has been raised from events and activities based in our corporate offices in Brisbane and Sydney and across our communities in Ingenia Lifestyle and Ingenia Gardens.

All funds raised will be going to two charities, Drought Angels and Rural Aid, who coordinate the Buy a Bale campaign. With the cost to transport a semi-trailer load of hay at $9,500, Ingenia are excited to present the cheques that will go towards feeding animals and supporting our farmer families throughout another tough summer.

Thanks to all involved in the planning, fundraising, the baking of yummy treats and getting into the spirit to dress up like farmers and share stories of their own farming experiences. It’s been humbling and heart-warming to see Ingenia help out a truly needy cause.
