Lakeside Lara residents celebrate their brand new Community Hub and facilities!

A grand opening event is always cause for celebration, but when it involves activities you can now enjoy right on your doorstep every day – then it really becomes a party.

Lakeside Lara residents, family and friends came together on Saturday 24 February to commemorate the grand opening of their new state-of-the-art Community Hub, which features an indoor pool, gym, yoga studio, golf simulator, event spaces and even a hairdresser.

“We are absolutely thrilled to deliver these quality facilities for our residents to enjoy,” said Senior Development Manager, Jeet Parmar. “In any development, it’s an exciting milestone to reach the end of construction, but seeing the benefits these facilities provide for the community is even more rewarding.”

The grand opening event provided a festive atmosphere, with guests enjoying food trucks, entertainment, and a resident-hosted BBQ feast, plus face painting and balloon animals for the grandkids.

“It was such a joy seeing residents enjoying their new spaces,” said Community Manager Peter Hinck. “Our existing facilities, especially our Clubhouse and bowling green, are always popular, but these incredible new areas of our community mean there’s more room to spread out, more to do, and more opportunities to connect.”

The new Community Hub precinct enhances the vibrant community spirit of Lakeside Lara, and follows the completion of the Community Workshop and Garden earlier this year.

“There’s been a real buzz around the place these last few weeks with our big opening events,” said Peter. “And even though the new facilities are now complete, there’s still plenty more going on, including more new home construction.”
