Buying an Ingenia Lifestyle Home

Once you’ve found the community that feels right for your future lifestyle, come and visit us and experience Ingenia Lifestyle in person. When you visit, our friendly community managers will take you on a personal tour of the display homes, or available homes for sale and also guide you around the shared facilities like the clubhouse, swimming pool and tennis courts. It’s the perfect way to get a real sense of community life and imagine yourself living here.

To plan your visit, simply book an appointment at a time that suits you. Facilities and the availability of display homes vary by community and the development phase of the community, if there’s something special you’d like to see, such as a particular home or facility, just let us know when you book. Once you have found your community and the home you would like to purchase, we work with you to make the next step in the buying process as straight forward as possible. A contract for purchase will be sent either digitally or in hard copy for you to review and sign. You will be provided with an estimated settlement date, at this stage you will be required to pay a deposit to secure your home. This step is much the same as the process for buying any other home, but because we use a land lease model, you will not be required to pay stamp duty and will be issued with a Residential Site Agreement, the lease for the land your home is on. The Residential Site Agreement outlines the community rules for your review and agreement. We pride ourselves on the simplicity of our contracts, but we recommend seeking your own legal and financial advice at this stage, so you feel fully informed. 

A key ingredient to the sense of belonging we foster at Ingenia Lifestyle is our Community Managers. They are the welcoming and knowledgeable point of contact that will help you from the start of your buying journey through to the ongoing daily support they provide long after you move in. It’s likely that you will meet your Community Manager on your first tour.  This step is about getting to know more about each other and the community. At this stage in the buying process you will have access to resident information, the Ingenia Lifestyle app and events to help you start to settle into your new address. The Community Manager will become your best point of contact for any questions you may have about day-to-day life in the community and will help introduce you to other residents.
