Freshwater by Ingenia Lifestyle’s milestone residents embrace their new lifestyle
Despite Barbara Johnstone and her husband Grahame purchasing the 100th home at Freshwater by Ingenia Lifestyle only a few months ago, Barbara had her eye on the community since its opening.
“Some friends invited me along to the original open day and I remember saying wow I could live here! I loved the look of the houses, and everyone was just so friendly,” Barbara said.
“A couple of years down the track, when I decided I needed to go somewhere where I had less stuff to look after, I knew I wanted to come here. It’s just what I needed.”

Though Barbara was the pioneer of the idea, she says her husband Grahame has embraced the lifestyle wholeheartedly.
“Grahame came because of me, but now he’s loving it more than he ever thought. He talks to absolutely everyone and it’s just so wonderful to see him coming out of his shell.”
For the Johnstones, Freshwater by Ingenia Lifestyle has been the perfect fit and the couple have already begun to make the most of the community’s resort style facilities and active social calendar.
“We go up to happy hour on Friday nights and join in things whenever we can, I even do aqua aerobics now. I just love not feeling detached from life like I was at our previous home.”
