Full steam ahead as construction progresses

At the front of the community, the entry fencing and streetscape on Barrington Lane are now largely complete, creating a welcoming arrival experience. Final touches, including the installation of entry gates and signage, are all that remain to finish this key feature. 

Construction of the first homes is also well underway, with builders at Buildlab having commenced work on nine homes. Five slabs have already been poured and two frames erected, while underground services, are progressing across the remaining homes. This marks a significant step forward in bringing the first stage of the community to life. 

Momentum is also building around the future clubhouse, with construction teams from Harris HMC now commencing foundational works. The sublayer beneath the slab is currently being prepared, laying the groundwork for what will become the social and lifestyle hub of the community. 

Across the broader site, civil works by BildGroup continue to advance. Stage 1 civils - delivered across two phases – will be completed by the end of May, with all roads within this stage now fully paved. Looking ahead, Stage 2 civil works are on track for completion around August to September, supporting the next phase of development. 

As construction continues across multiple fronts, Ingenia Lifestyle Sunbury is steadily evolving, bringing the vision of a connected, lifestyle-focused community in Melbourne’s north-west closer to reality.
