A Successful Hunt for Holiday Fun

This year’s Parkside Lucas resident Christmas party kicked off with a festive scavenger hunt that involved cryptic clues, sparkly decorations, and a bit of exercise before leading residents to a well-earned lunch in the brand new Community Clubhouse.
Over 120 residents made the most of the celebration after a huge year, discussing highlights like the opening of the resort-style facilities, the social club’s craft stall fundraiser, welcoming more neighbours into the expanding community, and all the friendships that have been formed throughout.
Community Manager Clare said everyone deserved a bit of fun after such a big year. “It was a chance for everyone to sit back, get waited on, and enjoy being a little spoilt.”
Lunch included a gorgeous spread of grazing plates and finger food, and enough drinks to ensure a bit of merriment (and kicking on to an after party for some!).
“I absolutely love seeing our community come together to enjoy each other’s company, and it’s even better now being able to do it as a whole neighbourhood in our huge new community spaces,” said Clare.
“Even more than our new facilities - which are amazing, by the way - I think it’s the friendships that really make this place come to life. Sometimes I can predict who will get on, but sometimes it’s a real surprise I never would have guessed, and that’s what’s so great about a community like this.”
Some friendships were cemented at the Christmas party in the photo booth, where the novelty props were an absolute hit.
And the following day, our resident pets were invited back to get their festive pictures taken too. So the only question now is, who wore it best?
